Well… there’s not much left anymore… maybe two more chapters left.
Tell me what you think, and I hope you enjoy!
Klaus looked over at his brother and took in his expression. “What’s on your mind?”
Henrik turned to Klaus and sighed. “I’m thinking about everything I said to her… what I did to her.” Henrik sighed. “I just… I can’t believe what I did to her. I forgot her. I let her go as if she meant nothing. She’s everything to me and I forgot her.”
“Bella didn’t just leave because you told her to, she left because she needed to. She knew that eventually you would remember her. Everything that happened between you and Bella will be fixed.” Klaus assured. “Bella knew you would remember her, she’s just waiting for you to find her.”
“It’s going to be close to impossible to find her,” Henrik responded, “She could be literally anywhere. Without our connection I can’t really find her as easily as I could before.”
“Yet you knew that she would stop in Forks.” Klaus responded.
Henrik smiled, “If I were in her place and she had lost all memory of me I would’ve gone to the one place that reminded me the most of her.”
“We’re a step closer to her.” Klaus responded, “We should also keep in mind that she’s with Kol and sooner or later his influence on her will take over. It could help us locate them.”
Henrik sat up straighter as they entered the town limits of Forks.
“Where are we going to first?” Klaus questioned.
“The cemetery. I’m more than certain she would’ve stopped there first.” Henrik replied she would’ve wanted to visit Charlie’s grave of that he was sure.
Klaus drove up to the cemetery and watched as Henrik instantly jumped out and began to walk towards the chief’s grave. Klaus followed behind and watched as Henrik kneeled down and looked over Charlie’s grave.
“It’s clean, no leafs no dirt, it’s spotless.” Henrik said as he looked over at Klaus. “What are the chances she’s still in town?”
“It would explain why his grave is so clean.” Klaus responded.
Henrik sighed. “I don’t feel like she’s here, I don’t think Bella would stay here for long.”
“HEY!” a voice yelled approaching the vampires.
Klaus and Henrik turned around to spot a twenty year old man heading towards them.
“Can I help you?” The boy asked looking at the both of them. “I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m in charge of this grave.”
Henrik looked at the young boy. “What do you mean in charge of?”
“Oh, his daughter pays me weekly to keep his grave clean.” The boy replied simply. “Can I ask why you’re visiting the chief?”
“He’s my father-in-law.” Henrik replied.
The boy nodded his head. “OH! You’re Henrik!” He laughed lightly. “Yeah I know you, Bells talked a lot about you when she was here.”
“Right.” Henrik said feeling slightly strange that this young boy knew him. “How long has it been since she’s left?”
“Months!” the young boy said. “She left after her birthday. She and Kol celebrated her birthday at the diner and they left the day afterwards. Bella paid me for the year to watch over Charlie’s grave.”
Henrik nodded, “I didn’t get your name.”
“Oh right, I’m Nick Webber. We’ve met before I’m Angela’s little brother.” He said extending his hand to Henrik.
Henrik shook his hand and nodded, “We should get going. It was nice to see you again.”
“Sure thing, when you see Bells tell her I said hello.” Nick replied as he turned back around and left.
“Well, at least we know she was here for some time.” Henrik said as he walked back toward the car.
“Any idea where they could’ve gone next?” Klaus questioned.
“It could be anywhere. Bella could’ve gone to New York, she loved it there, but with Kol’s influence they could’ve gone anywhere. I guess now all we can do is make an educated guess on where they went after here. If I’m right, they would’ve gone to New York. Belle would’ve wanted to revisit, even if it was for just a few days.” Henrik replied getting into to the car. “Maybe we should visit the old house before we head to New York.”
Klaus nodded in agreement. “I’m sure they could’ve left something behind at the house.”
–The Adventures of Bella and Kol: Forks–
Bella sighed in annoyance, “Kol, we have food back at the house there’s no need to come to the diner.”
Kol rolled his eyes at Bella’s complaining. “We’ve been here for what feels like forever and the most we’ve done is hang around the cemetery and the house. As a vampire who’s been locked inside a coffin for the past few decades, I demand we do something.”
Bella rolled her eyes, “But does it have to be the diner? My dad used to take me there, I don’t feel right going without him.”
“Listen very clearly, little mermaid,” Kol said trying to keep his voice kind. “You have been moping enough. You can’t continue to do this to yourself. Why should you be wallowing in misery when he isn’t? You said you were equals, so act like it. My idiot brother will come to his senses, but until then you have to continue to move one. If you don’t I’ll be forced to take drastic measurements and be warned in the past I’ve wiped out cities much larger than this town in boredom.”
Bella took in a deep breath. “I’m getting up.” Bella said with a bit of annoyance in her tone. “If I knew you were going to be such a pain in the ass I wouldn’t have allowed you to come along with me.”
“If I knew you were going to be such a pessimistic mess I wouldn’t have tagged along.” Kol replied with a smirk. “Put on something nice, if you’re going to be seen anywhere with me you should look presentable and not like creature out of a Halloween movie.”
Bella rolled her eyes, “I’ll present myself as I please and if I decide to go out wearing pajama pants and a ripped shirt that’s my decision to make and not yours.”
“Try it and I’ll be forced to dress you myself.” Kol threatened as she walked away. “And drink a blood bag, I don’t want you killing anyone in public.” He shouted after her. “That’s my job.” He replied shortly after amused.
Kol sighed and looked at his watch for the tenth time waiting for Bella to hurry up. He sighed in relief as she finally came down the stairs and for the first time since they left Mystic Falls she was starting to look like herself again. “Well look at that,” Kol said with an amused smirk. “You look almost human again. It’s refreshing after watching you become a walking corpse.”
“Let’s go,” Bella said gesturing in front of her for Kol to lead the way. “Why is it so important to you to go to the diner today?”
“Because I’m tired of seeing the inside of this house. I need something new, and my occasional run to go get some blood just isn’t enough anymore. There’s only so much enjoyment I can receive from killing a defenseless human. I need more than that.”
Bella laughed, “Let’s just go I was watching a documentary that I want to get back to.”
“Because the life of a New York prostitute is just so complex and interesting.” Kol remarked sarcastically.
“HEY!” Bella said as she got into the car. “Do not judge those women!”
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” Kol replied with a smirk. He started the car and with muffled comments towards Bella’s documentary and drove to the diner.
Bella sighed in annoyance as the parking lot to the diner was full. “There’s so many people inside already! Can we just go home and I’ll make you a burger and fries?”
“No.” Kol replied as he parked the car. “Now get out and let’s go in.”
Bella got out of the car and followed Kol inside of the diner. She froze as a crowd of people yelled happy birthday. She turned to Kol in complete surprise and saw a proud smirk on his face. “What the hell?” she whispered in surprise.
“Let’s get the girl something alcoholic!” Kol announced as Bella’s old school classmates surrounded her with drinks and congratulations on her birthday.
Getting home Bella fell onto the couch, she was exhausted. The night had been fun, everyone from town had practically been cramped into the diner to celebrate her birthday. She looked up at the ceiling and took in a deep breath. “How could I forget my birthday?”
“You’ve been running around all depressed and half dead for the last few weeks.” Kol replied as he set a few bags of gifts down on the coffee table. “You should just be glad that despite my many flaws I have a wonderful memory.”
“How could I let this get so out of hand? I’m so pathetic.” Bella said with a shake of her head. “I can’t keep going on like this. You were right, Kol. I shouldn’t be miserable if he’s not miserable, my Henri wouldn’t want me to be so miserable.”
Kol watched in amusement as Bella sat upright on the couch and stared at him. “What’s going on in that head of yours, little mermaid?”
“We can’t stay here, Kol.” Bella said in realization. “Let’s go somewhere that isn’t this place.”
Kol sighed in relief, “I was beginning to worry we’d stay here until the end of time. Any place in mind?”
Bella shrugged, “Not yet, but maybe somewhere special.”
-Returning to Henrik and Klaus-
Henrik entered his old home in New York and took in a deep breath. He caught her scent, but it was faint showing that she hadn’t been here in some time. He walked around the home and could catch the small spots where her scent still lingered. He found often that where her scent was Kol’s was around too, something he found didn’t really bother him because he could see now that Kol was just protecting her.
He walked to the fireplace and noticed the shiny new black frame that adorned the fireplace. He grabbed the frame and looked intently at the picture.
Bella was sitting in front of the fireplace with Kol a Santa Claus hat on her head as she smiled into the camera. By the look on Kol’s head he wasn’t too happy about the elf hat that sat on his head. Still, he looked happy.
“What’s that?” Klaus said entering the room.
Henrik handed the frame over. “This is where they spent Christmas and I’m guessing this is where they got our Christmas gifts.”
“At least we now know they were here,” Klaus said setting the picture back in its place. “I don’t believe they would have stayed long after Christmas was over.”
“No I don’t think they would have stayed long.” Henrik said he began to walk around the house. Memories of his time here with Bella flashed through his mind and he couldn’t help but smile at them He paused as he stood in front of their bedroom door.
Henrik opened the door cautiously, he looked inside and saw nothing was really out of place. Out of curiosity he walked over to the closet and opened it. He smirked as he could already see there were a few of his shirts missing. He knew she had taken them a she did always have a fondness of sleeping in his clothes.
With a new found hope Henrik headed down the stairs with a smile. He entered the study to see Klaus on the computer. “What are you doing?”
“I figured if I knew Bella she’d be sure to keep all the photos backed up somewhere. I found them.” Klaus said as he continued to click through the photos. “There aren’t many, but it’s enough to know that she’s doing better. She doesn’t look as pale as she did in the photo in Forks.”
Henrik walked over and stood behind Klaus. His brother was right, she looked much better than she had before. “Wait.” Henrik said as he saw something. “Go back, that was a video not a photo.”
Klaus went back and hit play on the video.
“Kol!” Bella yelled obviously from behind the camera. “KOL!”
Kol groaned, “What in the hell are you doing in my room?”
“I’m waking you up, it’s Christmas.” Bella said cheerily.
“I know what day it is, I don’t need you to remind me.” Kol said he pulled the blankets over himself. “Go away, little mermaid.”
Bella kicked Kol. “Get Up!”
“No!” Kol said in an annoyed tone.
“Fine.” Bella said quietly. “You obviously leave me no choice, but to force you.”
There was rustling and Kol shouted. “Bella!”
Bella laughed as Kol was soaked with water. “My talents can come in handy, hurry up! Be downstairs in 2 minute or else I’m coming back up here and I’ll light your ass on fire.”
Kol groaned, “You’re an annoying brat!” He yelled after her.
“Stop being a baby.” Bella shouted back. Bella laughed and waited for Kol to come down the stairs.
“Okay, what is it you woke me up for?” Kol said finally coming down the stairs.
“Come on, let’s go outside!” Bella said excitedly.
Kol sighed but followed. He laughed as he saw several large trees and bushes covering something. “What the hell is this, little mermaid?”
“You’re Christmas gift. Are you ready?” Bella questioned.
Kol sighed, “Okay, let’s see what you got.”
Bella used her power to remove the trees and instantly said, “Ta-da!”
Kol chuckled, “What is this?”
“It’s the car you wanted! Remember!” Bella said her voice slightly disappointed.
“I remember; I was asking why you bought me a car.” Kol questioned as he looked over the car.
“Because it’s Christmas and you’re ridiculously hard to shop for. Just say you like it, let’s take a picture in front of it and then I’ll make us breakfast.” Bella said.
Kol smiled genuinely. “It’s a lovely gift. Thank you.”
Henrik sighed as the video stopped. “We have to try and figure out where they went next, I can’t go on without her for much longer.”
“I’m sure it won’t take long to find out her next location.” Klaus said he looked around. “She must’ve left some sort of clue somewhere.”
-The Adventures of Bella and Kol: Mermaid World-
Bella put on the ridiculous crown that they gave her. She had insisted she had the rest of the equipment to do what was needed. “Why am I doing this again?”
“We have absolutely nothing better to do.” Kol responded with a smirk. “And you said I could decide what we do next. Now, go out there and show them what a real little mermaid looks like.”
Bella rolled her eyes she took off her shoes and jumped into the large tank. She swam a few test laps taking in all the fish and the decoration of the tank. She turned her head and smiled as the curtains opened up and she could see the row of people there ready to judge her mermaid talents.
Bella smiled and waved, they had requested she act as if she were in front of children. She used her gift of controlling the water to do a few tricks. She swam around doing a few flips and having fun with the water. Finally she swam at her full speed upwards and jumped out of the water doing a flip into the air before landing back in the water gracefully.
Kol helped Bella out of the water and helped her dry off. “How’d you do?”
“I was fantastic. How long was I down for?” Bella questioned.
“6 minutes.” Kol questioned, “I was beginning to get worried. It’d be suspicious if you could stay under for too long.”
Bella nodded she tied her hair back and began to walk out with Kol. She paused as a group of people stopped her and she recognized as the people behind the glass. “Hello.” She said softly.
“Miss Mikaelson.” An older man said. “We’ve had a lot of applicants, but you by far are the best mermaid we have seen. On behalf of everyone on the board we would like to offer you the role of head mermaid.”
Bella looked to Kol who nudged her to answer. “I would love the position, sir.”
“That’s wonderful news, we’ll send over paperwork for you to fill out and we open in a month so you will have time to create a routine with the other workers once we hire them.”
Bella smiled, “That sounds perfect, I’ll be sure to be there when it all starts.”
“I do have a question,” Kol whispered once they were walking away. “Why would they open a new section to an aquarium if it’s January?”
“It’s Florida. You can do whatever you want in Florida.” Bella responded she smiled. “You know, this might be really fun to do.”
“Of course it is.” Kol replied with a smirk. “Everything I decide to spend time on is a brilliant.”
-Return to Henrik and Klaus-
Henrik continued to scroll through the webpages wanting to find absolutely anything that would take him to Bella. He looked up as Klaus entered a paper in hand. “What is that?”
“It was in Kol’s room.” Klaus said with a smirk. “I don’t understand how we didn’t think to check his room until now.”
Henrik took the paper from Klaus and looked over it. “Mermaid World, what is this?”
“It’s the new exhibit for an aquarium. This Brochure is from December, I think Kol convinced Bella to go there. It sounds like something he would do.” Klaus said with a smirk.
Henrik smiled, “I guess we can check online to see if they have anything on Bella. I assume if she worked there it would be in their records.”
Klaus leaned against the wall and watched as Henrik found the webpage. He smirked as on the front page there was a picture of 9 different mermaids and in the middle, the center of attention was Bella.
“She’s so beautiful.” Henrik said he clicked on her and was lead to a page that held only information about Bella. It obviously wasn’t real information, just false information that was clearly written for kids to believe in mermaids.
Bella is the leader of the mermaid pack and is by far the best mermaid anyone has ever seen! She can do amazing tricks and just about anything else when she’s in the water. Come by and watch the real life mermaid in action!
“She’s still there.” Klaus said, “They would’ve announced it if she wasn’t working there anymore.”
Henrik clicked through a few more pages finding the one that held all the schedules. “Bella isn’t working for the next week. It says here she’s going through a family emergency or as they put a mermaid pack up west needs her help.”
“She’ll be back.” Klaus responded, “We can wait.”
Henrik shook his head, “I can’t wait. I’ve waited long enough, Nik. It’s hinting at a family emergency. We were just in Forks, Renee is fine, and you and I are here. There’s only one other person Bella would go and see.”
“You know where she is?” Klaus responded.
Henrik smirked, “I’m hoping I’m right.”
-The Adventures of Bella and Kol: Slater-
“Stop that!” Bella said swatting Kol’s hand away from his tie. “Sit down and act like an adult, Kol.”
Kol rolled his eyes, “Do we have to sit through this?”
“YES!” Bella said with an annoyed tone. “I told you already that Slater is performing, so we’re going to sit here and enjoy his performance.”
Kol leaned back and sighed heavily. “This is ridiculous.”
“Don’t be a jerk, Kol.” Bella said as she turned back around and faced the stage. “It won’t be too long, it’ll be over before you know it.”
Kol leaned back in his seat and with disinterest he looked towards the stage. The lights dimmed and he knew the performance was just about to start. He looked over at Bella to see that she was grinning. “I’m a bit disturbed by your happiness.”
Bella looked at Kol for a moment before returning her eyes back to the stage. “What are you talking about?”
“You’ve become incredibly happy within the last few months, I find it disturbing. I miss the days were you would barely move from your bed.” Kol responded.
Bella rolled her eyes. “You’re only saying this because I forced you to come with me.”
“It’s a stupid play!” Kol said with a sigh of annoyance.
“Don’t make me have to use my power to keep you quiet.” Bella said with a sigh. “Slater is my friend, I want to be here to support him.”
Kol sighed and leaned back in his seat. “Fine.”
“Thank you.” Bella said with a smile as she turned back to watch the show. She turned to Kol towards the end of the show. Slater’s character had just died off so she felt no reason to continue to focus on the show. “I think Henrik remembered something.”
Kol turned to Bella. “Why do you say that?”
“A feeling that I keep getting.” Bell said she put her hand to her heart. “It’s like I can feel him again, it’s not like it used to be, but I can feel a part of him. I know that somehow he’s remembered a part of me. It just gives me hope that he’ll find me.”
“What will happen if he does come to find you?” Kol questioned curiously. “I’m not sure whether to believe you’re going to forgive him or to believe that you’re going to be angry with him.”
“I would’ve been angry before, but now more than anything I just want my Henri back. You’ve helped me a lot Kol to forget the pain and it’s worked, but Henri is my soulmate and I need him.” Bella said with a small smile. “I just have to wait until he finds me.”
Kol smirked, “I doubt it will be hard as you’re the main star of an aquarium. Your picture is all over their website.”
Bella laughed, “I really doubt Henri will be looking up mermaid parks and somehow come across me. The only way I’m sure he’ll find me is if he remembers me.”
“I’m sure Klaus would be with him when he does eventually find you.” Kol replied he frowned as a thought slipped into his mind. “What are the chances Elijah would be with him?”
“Hopefully low, I’m not very fond of your brother.” Bella said with a frown.
“Well, that makes two of us.” Kol said with a smile. “Elijah is just too uptight to be likeable.”
“He’s too self-centered.” Bella replied with a smirk. “If he comes with them I’m sure we can figure out a way to make him go away.”
“I don’t think Nik nor Henrik will be pleased if we kill Elijah.” Kol replied with a mournful sigh.
Bella smiled, “I didn’t say anything about killing. I meant we could think of something else. I’m a little worried about how easily your mind goes to murder.”
“It’s a normal habitat of life.” Kol replied with a shrug. “Sooner or later you’ll find yourself thinking that killing someone is the easiest way to deal with any sort of problem.”
“I don’t think so, I only kill if I have to.” Bella responded with a shrug.
“That’ll change, little mermaid.” Kol replied with a smirk.
-Back to Henrik and Klaus-
Henrik entered the campus and with Klaus right behind him they headed towards the drama department. He waited outside a certain classroom with Klaus. Henrik had the high hopes that Slater would be able to tell him where Bella was staying. He reached out his hand and stopped Slater.
“Henrik!” Slater said in surprise his eyes widened as he saw Klaus. “Klaus. What are you doing here?”
“I’m looking for my wife.” Henrik responded, “Do you know where she is?”
“Not here.” Slater assured as he looked around to see if the humans had stopped to hear their conversation. “She left a few days ago. Kol was getting antsy he didn’t like it here very much. It was almost funny to watch him. Bella ended their trip earlier and headed back to their home. She didn’t mention where it was, all she said was that she found something she loved to do and was heading back She did mention that you’d come by at some point, she left me something for you.”
Henrik looked curiously as Slater reached into his backpack and pulled out a yellow envelope. “What is this?”
“I have no clue,” Slater said with a shrug. “I promised Bella I’d carry it everywhere with me until I could give it to you.”
Henrik took the envelope and walked away ripping it open. A large smile came upon his face as he saw the photo inside. It was him sitting on the counter with a pie in hand. He wasn’t aware she had ever taken the picture. He turned over the picture and read over Bella’s note.
I miss cooking for you.
I miss you.
Henrik grinned and put the photo in his pocket and motioned Klaus over. “She knows.”
“She knows what?” Klaus asked, “You need to be more descriptive.”
“Belle knows that I remember her.” Henrik said with a smirk. “I think she can feel it or maybe just feel me.”
“Can you feel her?” Klaus questioned.
“No, but Belle has always been more in touch with her emotions.” Henrik said smiling widely. “We have to go, she’s waiting for me.”
-The Adventures of Bella and Kol: Henrik and Klaus-
Kol handed Bella a bottle of blood. “You’re the closing act, so really try to outshine the rest.”
Bella laughed as she opened up the bottle. “Don’t you have to go find Macie?”
Kol rolled his eyes, “I told you, I’m not in love with the girl, I just find her company entertaining.
“Of course,” Bella replied with a roll of her eyes, she put the bottle to her lips and drank down the entire contents. “Alright, I’m good to go in. I’ll see you when I’m done.”
“Of course.” Kol responded, “I’m going to go out during your performance, but I’ll be back by the end of it.”
Bella smirked as she dipped her toes into the water for a moment letting her tail form. “Say hello to Macie for me.”
“If you don’t get in the water now, I will push you into it.” Kol warned.
Bella smirked and she dove into the water gracefully.
Kol could instantly hear the clapping and the loud roar of applause. He walked out of the area and headed towards the dining area where he had plans to join a certain red-head tour guide for lunch.
Kol paused as a familiar voice hit his ears. “It couldn’t be.” He said in disbelief. He turned around and walked back towards the doors leading to Bella’s performance hall.
“Well, if it isn’t my dear brothers.” Kol said with a smirk. “Fancy seeing you here.”
Klaus turned and smirked, “Hello to you too, Kol.”
Henrik looked around. “Where’s my Belle?”
“Entertaining dozens of kids.” Kol responded with a smirk. “I’m assuming that you’re no longer the biggest idiot in the world and have gained back your memories.”
“Lead me to my wife, Kol.” Henrik ordered, “I don’t want to waste more time.”
Kol sighed in mock annoyance. He walked off knowing his two brothers would follow him. “She just started, so there’s no possible way you’ll get her to come out of the water until she’s done.” Kol pulled out his key and opened the doors leading to Bella’s tank. “If anyone asks, just say you’re the new worker I’ve hired. I’d stay and watch this reunion, but I have a date to get to.”
Klaus turned to Kol, “A date?”
Kol shrugged, “I suppose being around Bella for so long would make anyone more human.” He tossed Henrik the keys. “Don’t let anyone back here.”
Henrik turned to Klaus. “I really hate to say this, but I’m slightly pleased he was with her.”
Klaus smirked, “She certainly has had some sort of positive effect on him. I think I’m going to leave, I have some calls to make.”
Henrik smiled, “Tell Caroline I hope she’s having a wonderful trip.”
“Tell Bella I’ll see her later.” Klaus responded as he left the area.
Henrik moved around the area and caught Bella’s scent everywhere. He walked towards the area where it lead into the tank. He smiled as he could hear the clapping and laughter of the audience. He waited patiently for her to end her performance. He stepped back as he could hear her ready to come out.
Bella’s head popped out of the water and she grabbed onto to the edge of the stage and pulled herself up. She paused as she caught a scent in the air. She closed her eyes trying her best to not get her hopes up. She willed her tail to disappear before she stood up. She stood still with her eyes closed tight.
“I missed you.” Henrik said quietly. “I owe you an apology, Belle. I let my siblings put thoughts into my head and that led me to hurt you. The last thing I ever wanted was to hurt you.” Henrik stepped forward so he was only a few feet away from her. “You have to believe that I would never want to hurt you. I love you, Belle and before I got my memories back I had realized how stupid I was to let you leave. I knew even then that I couldn’t live without you. I miss you, Belle, and I love you so much that being so far apart from you hurts. Can you turn around for me, Belle?”
Bella opened her eyes and she turned around slowly taking in Henrik’s face as he looked at her. She gave a small smile and took a step forward, she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She closed her eyes as his arms wrapped around her. “I missed you too, Henri.” She whispered as she took in his familiar scent and his familiar warmth.
“I love you so much, Belle.” Henrik said as he held her close. “I’m so sorry.”
“I love you, Henri. Forever and Always, no matter what happens.” Bella assured, she stepped back and smiled brightly at him. “I’m just glad you were able to find me.” She brushed her hand through his hair. “To remember me.”
“I really thought you would be at least a bit madder.” Henrik said with a smile.
Bella shrugged, “The spell was meant for me, Henri. I would’ve been the one who forgot everything, and I know that if that were the case you wouldn’t expect me to grovel at your feet. I can’t possibly be angry at you for something that wasn’t your fault, all I can do is accept it and move past it. And I have. All I wanted was for you to remember me and come back to me.” She smiled and ran her hand through his hair. “You came, that’s all that matters. I just wanted you back and wanted you here with me.”
Henrik pressed his forehead against her own. “I’m sorry.” He repeated softly, “You might not be angry for what I did, but I am. I know you must’ve felt a large amount of pain for what I did. I love you, Belle and what I did will always be something I regret.” He leaned down and kissed her lightly. “I love you.” He repeated again.
Bella nodded her head, “I know.” She leaned back up and connected her lips to his. She put her hand in his hair and brought him closer deepening the kiss between. She let out a small sigh as she had missed this feeling. The wonderful light that bloomed in her chest when she was with him made every bit of hurt she felt before disappeared completely. She was back with him and that’s all that really mattered to her anymore.
